Fil a Fil translates as thread to thread. The plain weave fabric is given a mottled, iridescent surface by alternating white and colored weft and warp threads. This effect is accentuated in the darker areas, while the lighter areas are woven in one yarn color.

Christian Fischbacher attaches great importance to very high quality and the finest materials for its bed linen. For example, only Supima long staple cotton is used to make a double-twisted yarn that is woven by a Swiss weaver into a fabric that is only 100g/m2 light. This Fil á Fil has proven itself for over 100 years, is easy to iron and has a long life. Ideal in combination with the «Fischbacher Fil a Fil Uni».
