CTM coffee table, VITRA

With the aim of producing a round coffee table, Charles and Ray Eames pursued various experiments that ultimately resulted in the CTM table (Coffee Table Metal). Designed in 1946, this simple table has a round plywood top with a slightly raised moulded edge and four slender tubular steel legs. It is ideally suited for use with other designs from the Plywood Group by Charles and Ray Eames.
