In Japanese tradition, a stone wrapped with string on the path means that you should not go further here. Japanese artist Hachiro Kosuga has taken up this tradition and reinterpreted it. His artfully bamboo-wrapped stones are not only suitable as paperweights. A Takeami stone on the laptop can signal, for example, in the grueling business routine: "Enough for today, time for leisure!". The artist and curator Miki Shimokawa, who lives in Germany, selected these beautiful objects for AUERBERG in Kyoto at Hachiro Kosuga.
